     ”... For thirty years now I have been studying my fellow men. I do not
know very much about them. I suppose it is on the face that for the most
part we judge the persons we meet. We draw our conclusions from the
shape of the jaw, the look in the eye, the contour of the mouth. I wonder
if we are more often right than wrong.
    I shrug my shoulders when people tell me that their first impressions
of a person are always right. For my own part I find that the longer I know
people the more they puzzle me: my oldest friends are just those of
whom I can say that I don't know the first thing about them."
    What is your own opinion? Do you agree that appearances are
deceptive? Prove your opinion with examples.

   Think of a person you know well. This person should be known to the
others as well. He should be either your groupmate or a famous
personality. The rest of the group should put questions which require the
answers "yes" or "no" to find out who he/she is.
