VII. SUGGESTED ACTIVITIES

1. Speak about advantages/disadvantages of traveling by car in this country and

in the United States.

2. Speak on the following situations:

A) you are going hiking for the first time, and you don’t know what to put into

your rucksack. Ask a friend to give you advice;

B) your friend is fond of driving, so he is all for traveling by car. Try to per-

suade him to go by train;

C) your friend and you are going to Siberia during your summer/winter holi-

days. You have never been there and you don’t know much about this particular re-

gion. Speak about your preparations and plans.
