VII. SUGGESTED ACTIVITIES

1. Speak on the following situations:

A) you are the Front Desk Clerk in the Mariot Hotel. A tourist is checking in to

the hotel and you should explain him what kind of rooms and services you have in

this hotel, what the number of his room is, what floor it is on and where the lift is.

You should explain him how to fill in the form, how much it will be for a night and

what the forms of payment are;

B) you are a chambermaid and you inform the visitor about services and con-

veniences.

2. Make up dialogues, using expressions from section V.

3. Write a letter to your friend about your staying at the U.S. hotel.
