I. Give three forms of the following irregular verbs (to hide, to go, to

rise, to catch, to make, to think, to shine), and make up your own

sentences with them according to the model.

Example: to rise – rose – risen

1. The sun always rises in the East.

2. The sun rose at about 9 o’clock in the morning.

3. Tomorrow the sun will rise 1 minute earlier than

yesterday.

II. Fill in the gaps:

1. When the children played hide-and-seek they sometimes hid … the
