26 Discuss in small groups and report back to the class.
1 Which politician is the most culpable?
2 Who was the most hypocritical?
3 Who do you think suffered most – Bill, Monica, Hillary, John, Edwina or Norma?
Example: I think Norma suffered the most because the affair lasted a long time.
27 Politicians are considered liars. The average person tells one lie a day
(university students at least two!). But is it easy to spot a liar? In small
groups, play the board game. You need to talk for 30 seconds on the topic
on the square which you land on.
RULES:
· Throw the dice. Talk about the topic which appears on your square. You
must include a lie somewhere in the monologue. Your partners have to
guess correctly what the lie was. If they guess correctly, you miss a turn. If
you manage to deceive them, you can have another go. The winner is the
first to reach the end.
· The grey squares put you in the Hot Seat, as they are more personal than
the others. If you land on this square you must tell the truth.
