Despite the rhetoric of many campaigns as to how important young adults
are to the future of the country, this generation does not appear important enough
to the campaigns to be actively targeted,’ the study said.
For the most part, many young people surveyed said they did not vote
because they didn’t have enough time or information to do so. Most just were not

The study found that young people felt candidates could reach them better
over the Internet than through TV advertising.
