10 Rewrite the following short text in direct speech.
Terry said that he could cook dinner that evening. Sharon told him that he
didn’t have to. She said that they could order a pizza instead. Terry said that he
had eaten too many pizzas that week.
Later, Terry told Sharon to get her coat. He said he was taking her out for
dinner. Sharon said he hadn’t done that for a long time. Terry said that it wasn’t
every day that they had their wedding anniversary.
11 Here are some things Sarah said to you. But later she said something
different to you. Write what you said.
I’ve never been to the United States. I don’t have any brothers or sisters.
