         1. Work in pairs.
         Make a similar diagram about travelling, decide what word-groups to have.

         2. The following sentences describe what you do when you go to an airport to
         catch a plane, but in the wrong order. Read them carefully and put them in
         the right order.

         ______You go to the departure lounge.
         ______You get a trolley.
         ______You arrive at the airport.
         ______You go to your gate.
         ______You go to the check-in desk.
         ______You go to the duty-free shop.
         ______You get a boarding card.
         ______You board the plane.
         ______You check in your luggage.
         ______You look at the departure board to see if your flight is boarding yet.
         ______The board tells you which gate to go.

         3. What is the order of events when you fly into the airport? Begin like this:

         1. You will hear some lines of dialogues. Say if the dialogues are taking place at
         a check-in desk or at a railway ticket office.
         2. Listen to the complete dialogue at the check-in desk. With a partner, try to
         remember the dialogue.
         3. Listen to the complete dialogue at the ticket office. Practise the questions.
         4. Play out your own dialogues at the ticket office. Imagine that it is 11 a.m.
