A. ROLEPLAY THE CONVERSATION:
What is your job? What do you like or dislike about it? Compare your present job with your last job.
B.You and your partner want to hire a new salesperson for your company. The salesperson will sell
school supplies to colleges and universities. Look at the chart and study the likes, dislikes and
experience of the applicants. Discuss which applicant you want to hire. Read the example.

I. 1. PRACTISE READING SOME USEFUL EXPRESSIONS:
1) a trip by air ( by rail, by sea, etc.) - путешествие самолетом (по железной дороге, на
корабле)
to go by bus ( train, plane, etc.) - ехать на автобусе (поезде, самолете и т.д.)
to get on, to get off a bus (a train, a plane, etc.) - сесть (в), выйти (из) автобуса (поезда,
самолета и т.д.)
a traffic jam - "пробка" на дороге
the rush (peak hours) - час "пик"
2) to buy a ticket
- купить билет
to book a ticket - заказать билет
a booking-office - билетная касса
a slot-machine; to have some change for a slot-machine - разменный автомат, иметь мелкие
деньги для разменного автомата
a single ticket - билет в один конец
a return ticket - обратный билет
a season ticket - сезонный билет
