большое отверстие (hole) в шестом зубе справа - зубе мудрости.
Пациент: Что Вы говорите? Тогда его нужно лечить.
Врач: Его не нужно лечить. Зуб будет мертвый. Его следует удалить.
Пациент:
Конечно, я хочу, чтобы мой зуб был удален.
Врач: Хорошо. Подождите минутку, я только сделаю укол (a prick).

a). Ask the tailor to have your clothes mended. Use the words: at the tailor's; to buy a new dress (suit,
jacket, etc.) at the Central Store; long sleeves; broad shoulders; too broad in the waist; (not) to fit
(suit); to want some alterations made to the dress, etc.
b).You want to have your car overhauled. Ask the attendant to have a look at your car, use the words:
to break the front door; engine; (not) to be in a very good condition; brakes; (not) to work well; to have
(the brakes) to be adjusted.
c).Your tape - recorder needs to be repaired. Ask the shop-assistant about it, use the words: sound, not
very clear lately; tapes; to be torn from time to time; to undergo changes.

Mrs Howard: A bit like you, actually. Same build, same height, and similar colour eyes.
II.
a). A: Have you met the new salesmanager?
B: Yes, I have.
A: What do you think of him?
B: Well, he seems very nice. He's very friendly, and he's always helpful.
A: Oh, do you think so?
B: Yes, but I think he's kind of forgetful. He never remembers my name.
A: Yeah, you're right. He's very forgetful.
