"As she pulled away from the front of the Chutes' home, she couldn't help
noticing the bus, mini-bus and van parked along the north side of the house. Each
vehicle had N&N Tours painted on its sides, prompting Carly to conclude that Nancy
and Ned were partners in business as well as marriage, even though she wasn't at all
certain that she had fixed the name order correctly. She would

but the idea of driving a van or mini-bus seemed like fun.
The ride home was uneventful, but locating all the clothing items on Bella's list
proved interesting. Carly finally circled the few things on the list that were nowhere

Market. As she guessed, her friend Sandy was working there for his father. "How was
Phoenix?" he asked. "I'm still there," Carly said prompting a puzzled look from her
friend. "I mean I just came back for some clothes. Bella's sister is undergoing open-
heart surgery today, and we're going to be there for a few weeks."
