FORMAL LETTERS
Layout Write the name and/or title of the person you're writing to. Only use
Dear Sir or Dear Madam if you dont know the persons name. Do not indent
their address.
Write the first line next to
the left-hand margin.
Begin the next line under
the name.
Write Yours with a capital
'Y' and faithfully or sin-
cerely with a small 'f 'or 's'.
These endings are followed
by a comma.
