Too Much Work
The famous English atomic scientist Rutherford (1871 –1937 ), the discoverer of the atomic nucleus, came to his
laboratory late in the evening .
One of the pupils was still busy with the instruments.
"What are you doing here at such late time? " Rutherford asked the young scientist.
"I am working," came the proud answer.
"And what do you do by day?"
"Work, of course."
"And do you work early in the morning ?"
"Yes, professor, I work early in the morning as well," the pupil answered proudly.
Rutherford looked at him with some pity and asked:
"And when do you think?"
