                                BASIC IRC COMMANDS

     These commands are enough to get you started.

      /flush                    throw away remaining output for current command
      /help                     display a list of all IRC commands
      /help command             display help regarding specified command
      /help intro               display an introduction to IRC
      /help newuser             display information for new users
      /join channel             join the specified channel
      /leave channel            leave the specified channel
      /list                     display information about all channels
      /list channel             display information about specified channels
      /list – min n             display channels that have at least n people
      /list – max n             display channels that have no more than n people
      /me action                display specified action
      /mode * +pi               make current channel completely private
      /msg nickname text        send private message to specified people
      /msg, text                send message to last person who sent you a message
      /msg.text                 send message to last person who sent a message to
      /nick                     display your current nickname
      /nick nickname            change your nickname to specified name
      /query nickname           send all your messages to specified people
      /query                    stop sending private messages
      /quit                     quit IRC
      /set novice off           allow certain actions (like joining multiple channels)
      /who channel              show who is joined to specified channel
      /who nickname             show information about the specified person
      /who *                    show who is joined to the current channel
      /whois nickname           show all information about the specified person
      /whois *                  show all information about everybody
