          ¨ Grammar snack: 1. Read these paragraphs about what people do with
         money, and choose the correct preposition.
                                             “I don’t know why my daughter wastes money

                                      up. If she was more careful and put a little money (2)

                                      on something really nice, like a new CD player.”
                                             “I’m really fed up with my boyfriend: he never
