Make a list of five or more regions or countries that are in competi-
tion with yours.
Design a questionnaire to find out people’s attitudes to the less at-
tractive features of these regions and your own region. Ask people
which of these phrases describe each destination:

Ask them to describe each place in one sentence like this:

I. Any product gives various 'benefits' to the customer: these
may be functional or practical (speed, power, efficiency, etc.) or psy-
chological (attractive appearance, making the customer feel happy or
proud, etc.):
