thought of the possibilities, she realized how little she had learned. Despite that, she
wasn't discouraged. With some good detective work the little she had learned would

"Carly dropped a quarter into the
coin box and made a copy of the page
she had just read. Then she rewound the film to the other story and copied both of the
pages. Seeing the headline on the first story again sent a little shiver up her spine. She
imagined Wilbur Sims had been a different man before the accident, and for a brief
moment she felt sorry for him. Then she folded up her copies of the stories and
returned the microfilm canisters to the librarian.
When she reached the
section she found Copter talking to a girl who
seemed to be his age. He was telling her about all the wonderful theme parks in
