27 Write a formal letter (about 250-300 words) to your local radio station.
Your local radio station has invited listeners to contribute ideas to a documentary
programme on ways of reducing crimes in your area. They are planning to include
some of the ideas below, and would like feedback on them before making the
programme.
· improving leisure facilities
· expanding the police force
· providing help with security
· improving video surveillance
· giving talks in schools
Write a letter to the programme makers, identifying the main problems leading to
crime in your area and saying which of the ideas above for reducing crime should
be included in the programme and your reasons.
