Использование только простой формы герундия характерно
для устной речи.
Gerund. Revision. Render the sentences into Russian.
1. Rectangular coordinates serve for characterizing the position of a

3.1. Причастие I
(The Participle I)
Причастие (the Participle) является неличной формой глагола, в
которой сочетаются признаки имени прилагательного или наречия с
признаками глагола.
В английском языке наиболее употребительны Participle I и
Participle II. (В английской грамматике Participle I называется Present
Participle, а Participle II – Past Participle.)
