Nn. – flæsc "flesh", fleos "fleece", etc.
NB. It is interesting to notice that Nm. and Nn. of a-stem and those
of i-stem have homogenious endings, while Nf. of a-stem have the same
endinga as Nf. of o-stem. When these inflexions were levelled, the decline
of grammatical case was accelerated.
