Ann: Oh, that is the famous Jane Forrest! But how did Dan get acquainted
with her?
Bob: They were in the same group of tourists this summer.
Ann: Where did they travel?
Bob: They visited several European countries.
Ann: Is Dan in love with that beauty?
Bob: I don't know. You’d better ask Dan about it.
Ann: Yes, I will talk with him about it. Will you do me a favour, Bob?
Bob: I'll do anything for you Ann.
Ann: Will you invite Jane Forrest for the next dance?
2) Annie: Do you like Jane's cousin Nick?
Betsy: To my mind he is a nice boy. Why do you ask?
Annie: You see the last three months Nick has been very attentive to me.
Betsy: What do you mean, Annie?
Annie: Well, he keeps meeting me after school and walking with me till our
house.
Betsy: How did you both get acquainted?
Annie: Jane introduced him to me at Nell's birthday party, but then he didn't
pay much attention to me.
Betsy: And when did he begin to pay much attention?
Annie: Half a year has passed since then. What will you say, Betsy?
