Advantages:

First, the method allows us to simulate different situations through varying

parameters of the model.

Second, all the computational simulations are carried out under the same

initial conditions, using the same tooth model. The latter is next to impossible in

real clinical conditions.

As an example Fig. 3 shows the results of test simulations of stress-strain

states under the load for various types of reconstruction.

Different colors show different strains in endodontically treated teeth.
