Plan the replacement for the SMT line to
occur four weeks earlier to allow the ABC
module to be built on time. We need to
contact the vendor.
Develop a hardware emulator to allow unit
testing to continue without the A3C module.

March 29, 1999: SMT line vendor is not able
to install earlier due to other customer
commitments.
April 6, 1999: A simple emulator has been
developed. It appears that 85% of the firmware
functions can be tested without the ABC module.
Notes:
April 10, 1999: Risk Event occured and Firmware unit testing has been completed using the
hardware emulator. Resultant schedule slip will only
be
4 work days. May 10, 1999: Prototypes
have bean built and the last 15% of testing
has
been completed.
