The new 140 km/h train is similar to the existing IMU 100 series in general
appearance but with design improvements. Each set will have two railcars and a trailer car.
The railcars are equipped with the latest propulsion system incorporating a state-of-the-art
microprocessor-controlled braking system giving excellent acceleration and braking

The car interiors are based on the existing IMUs with air-conditioning, luggage
racks, doors, high back seats and toilet facilities. There are overhead luggage racks as well
as luggage racks located adjacent to the entrance vestibules. Besides that, there is space
under the seat.
