суффиксом -er) заменяется на русскую личную форму глагола. Например:

She is a very light eater. Она очень мало ест.

He is quite a heavy smoker. Он много курит.

2. Английские прилагательные в сравнительной степени могут при

переводе

заменяться отглагольными существительными со значением увеличения

или уменьшения. Например:

higher efficiency – повышение к.п.д.

lower cost – снижение стоимости

3. Английское прилагательное, образованное от географического

названия, как правило, заменяется существительным. Например:

The American decision – решение США

Australian prosperity – процветание Австралии
