      В данном тексте большинство предложений, несущих основную инфор-
мацию, относятся к сложным. Это можно объяснить тем, что часть текста пред-
ложена для самоподготовки, из-за чего достаточно тщательно разъясняются не-
которые тонкости такого сложного дела, как программирование. Такой подход
стимулирует появление сложных предложений. Подчинительные же, а не сочи-
нительные придаточные объясняются стилем речи:
      А) с придаточными причины:
      «To make this work, you might need to tell your compiler to create a console
application» (38);
      «Just be careful that you do not save the formatting if you use a word proces-
sor—you will be able to read the file but the formatting will confuse the com-
piler»(134);
      «The use of a language based on published standards is useful in that everyone

is following the same description and rules»(33);

      «To compile and link a project or an individual source file, click the Make Pro-
ject icon» (103);
      «To run a program from the IDE, click the Run Project icon. To debug a pro-

      «To write C++ source files, you can use the built-in editor, a commercial text
